Our Toddlers & Pre-schoolers Program, "Mainly Music"

Cathedral's Children Program designed for toddlers and pre-school aged children (with parents and carers).

Very friendly environment for growing in faith through music and movement. New families are always  welcome.

MEET: EVERY FRIDAY (during school terms)   TIME: 10.30-11:30am  VENUE: Mary Thomas Room, Cathedral Hall (off Church Street)

Third Sunday of the month - Kids Encountering God - Suspended at this time 

10.00 am in the Cathedral  (part of our Baptism Service)

The children’s Sunday program designed for St Saviour’s follows the best practice of present Faith development.

Children come with their parents to Church, they stay with them until the end of the second lesson.

After the Second Lesson an introduction to the theme of the children’s activity is given by a member of the staff.

The children then withdraw to the KEG room (within the Cathedral) with a teacher, hear the story of the Gospel reading, and work on an activity.

The children rejoin the rest of the congregation at "the Peace". They then come to Holy communion with their parents and receive a blessing or communion.
